Better in the period Moyes was there, that's the time Bill owned the club, so fact remains we didn't decline under him.we were better only in the period Moyes was there. Moyes papered over a lot of cracks and covered how appallingly BK was running the club
Goodison built on an ancient burial ground perhaps, doing that can bring bad luckI think the other way of looking at this is that we must all have done some shockingly bad things in our previous lives.
He owned the club from 1999 onwardsBetter in the period Moyes was there, that's the time Bill owned the club, so fact remains we didn't decline under him.
The club was also in a far better state then it is now under Moshiri and Usmanov.
Until he sold it to Moshiri who destroyed it.He owned the club from 1999 onwards
Dont let the fact football has changed incredibly over the last 15/20 yrs to get in the way of your argument and moyes has been gone 10yrs. In 2005 when we qualified for the champions league Bolton, Middlesbrough and Liverpool where are challengers.February 2016 Moshiri came to Everton, since then we have come
11th, 7th, 8th, 12th, 10th, 16th, 18th
Bills final seasons were
5th, 8th, 7th, 7th, 6th, 5th, 11th
Between 2005 and 2014 only once did we find ourselves outside the top 8 .... but yeah we declined under Bill....
Yeah it's a totally different world, in the world it was Kenwright kept us punching above our weight, in the current world Moshiri has us punching below clubs who spent much less but who have owners with clear vision and direction.Dont let the fact football has changed incredibly over the last 15/20 yrs to get in the way of your argument and moyes has been gone 10yrs. In a 10yr period all these clubs finished 11th or better. Fulham, Reading, Charlton, Bolton, Middlesbrough, Blackburn, Stoke, Portsmouth, Wigan.
Wigan, Birmingham, Blackburn, Swansea, Middlesbrough, Portsmouth all won trophies over the same period. While Everton brought out a 7th placed finish DVD.
In that era only 3 maybe 4 teams spent serious money. The other 16 didn’t have a pot to
Piss in. We stayed around 5/6/7th and 8th because we had a good solid prem manager and he stayed in the job 11yrs so he had chance to build something, which wasn’t much when you read above. It wasn’t a difficult time to win a trophy. We missed a brilliant opportunity to really kick on in that period and it’s down to one man, and he’s a huge reason where we’re today.
Now Fulham come up, spend 100mil go down. Forrest come up spend over 150mil and could go down. It’s a different world, which you seem not to grasp.

Fair point, you can give that one to Kenwright too then, but it still shows a pattern, which is nothing but a disasterMoshiri came at the end of season that you have moved over to him from Kenwright. He didn't have any transfer windows, say on who the manager was so how you have palmed it off just shows you are trying to make up the numbers to suit your narrative.
thank god for moyes aWhich proves the point we didnt decline under him, we got better, thanks for brining them up
Who’s spent a lot less?Yeah it's a totally different world, in the world it was Kenwright kept us punching above our weight, in the current world Moshiri has us punching below clubs who spent much less but who have owners with clear vision and direction.
Thank god Bill took advice and made the right appointmentthank god for moyes a
So you blame moshiri for Martinez’s last seasonFebruary 2016 Moshiri came to Everton, since then we have come
11th, 7th, 8th, 12th, 10th, 16th, 18th
Bills final seasons were

thank god walter smith was born so he could tell kenwright to appoint moyes and thank god kenwright is such a pushover actually worked in our favour that timeThank god Bill took advice and made the right appointment
Who’s spent a lot less?
There’s no way a team run like how Bill run us would survive more than 3/4yrs in the premier league these days.
Yeah but getting into Europe was a big deal for us, I remember the Villa Real game, big banner saying 'Sorry for the long wait, we've had some trouble with the neighbours" brilliantAnd plenty of teams had a lot more success than Bill’s Everton on smaller budgets. Like I’ve pointed out. Let’s not forget we got into Europe 5/6times? And the best we did was last 16, rangers, Celtic, Fulham, Middlesbrough all hit to finals
