Yes, we got very lucky, luck that ran out the day Farhad turned upthank god walter smith was born so he could tell kenwright to appoint moyes and thank god kenwright is such a pushover actually worked in our favour that time
Surprised Bill hasn’t got that up in his office, sod the result and the battering by Bucharest in the Europe league after dropping out of the champions league. A least we won the bannersYeah this is true but it's all relative to time periods, Bill's way worked then, Farhads fails now
Yeah but getting into Europe was a big deal for us, I remember the Villa Real game, big banner saying 'Sorry for the long wait, we've had some trouble with the neighbours" brilliant
kenwright will probaly be gone by the end of the season i hope you don’t spend the rest of ye life trying to convince everyone he done a good job you’ve already put a monster shift on ereYes, we got very lucky, luck that ran out the day Farhad turned
Correct. Moyes was very good at identifying players to sign (yeah, there were a few duds) & blooding some from the youth system. His problem was that the club never had the wherewithal to build further on his achievements by adding reinforcements at the correct time to bust the 'glass ceiling'. Instead, our top players were sold to the predators, the fees disappearing in 'other operating costs' (or elsewhere) and the cycle continued. NSNO didn't really apply any more, at best it was a pragmatic case of 'do a doggy paddle rather than swimming', alternatively it was poorly managed decline, certainly never ambitious and progressive - this was down to a reluctance of the Board (Kenwright) relinquishing ownership; he was content with the status quo and basking in perma mid-table existence. Gone were the days of Everton Football Club being a big club and winning trophies. Some of us have been privileged to watch Everton teams win the League in different eras, win the FA Cup in different decades and the one European trophy. The last success 28 years ago in 1995 means that most Evertonians less than about 35 years of age will have nothing to reflect on for their years of following Everton FC. They deserve better, let's hope the future sweeps away the chancers and the club gets an owner(s) and board worthy of the brilliant supporters again!we were better only in the period Moyes was there. Moyes papered over a lot of cracks and covered how appallingly BK was running the club
And for some reason he still plays a large part in all the decisions and deals made.Kenwright decided to sell out to Moshiri so is directly responsible for the mess FM has helped create. No-one put a gun to Kenwright's head demanding he sold to him he chose too because 1) it made him a massive amount of ££££ 2) he got to keep his beloved Chairmans seat.
Bill putting Bill before the club as is the norm though with him.
absolute rubbish yet again are you and Bill related ?No I don't blame him, it's this mess today he has the sole responsibility for

I recall being at big European nights at Goodison and abroad many , many times long before the arrival of your beloved leech.Yeah this is true but it's all relative to time periods, Bill's way worked then, Farhads fails now
Yeah but getting into Europe was a big deal for us, I remember the Villa Real game, big banner saying 'Sorry for the long wait, we've had some trouble with the neighbours" brilliant
Bit "selective" thatFebruary 2016 Moshiri came to Everton, since then we have come
11th, 7th, 8th, 12th, 10th, 16th, 18th
Bills final seasons were
5th, 8th, 7th, 7th, 6th, 5th, 11th
Between 2005 and 2014 only once did we find ourselves outside the top 8 .... but yeah we declined under Bill....
we didn't get very lucky.Yes, we got very lucky, luck that ran out the day Farhad turned up
