Really intrigued how this plays out in the media. Really hope that it's met with the ferocity it deserves.

It won't be, I've not seen any national outlet report on it and it's been hours now. Any other chairman in the PL or EFL releases a statement like that only hours before such an important match, it gets a full break down and dissection. Not this luvvy though.

The more you read it the crasser it gets. For example this:

"The short window you refer to will, you infer, be helped by the removal of your Board. Have you ever pondered whether your manager and players would agree with that?"

Err.....no Bill because the manager and players are employees of the club and as such are on the payroll (just like you are). They don't really give a flying one who is in charge of the club as long as they are getting paid and winning games (hopefully). In fact a change in the makeup of the board might bring some much needed investment in the playing staff.

It is the fanbase who would be encouraged by the removal of the board because it would signal the beginning of the end of the stench of mediocrity that was established during your tenure, and as a result would give them some hope for the future.

an completely insane deluded old man is directing our once great football club to the championship. he is the 🤡 that thinks he is the grandmaster.

it is an absolute shame our club has allowed this.

this board will not survive when moshiri will sell up and hide in Iran without a care in the world. he will recoup his losses and bill and his board won't be able to step foot in the city not to mind goodison or a bramley moore stadium that we will probablyend up renting. sharp is included in this too. jumping in the circus ring with the 🤡

BBC sport have picked up on it

Im getting similar feelings to when I first watched the film “watership down“ as a young boy. An eventful rollercoaster of emotion and sadness. Thank you for your beautiful words Chairman Bill 🥲
Why can’t you bad bad people leave this defenceless victim alone? will you at least think of what the manager, players, Grant Ingles and Sharpy will feel?… Not my Sharpie 😭😭😭
”mum, mum… they’re drawing my boy, they’re drawing him on the banners!!”

It's all over the press now mate. Telegraph, Mail, BBC etc

I didn't think it was possible for me to have a shred of compassion toward Kenwright for the damage he's done. Turns out I was wrong. THAT is how poor the targetting of him over his health issues have been.

It's like his opponents in that movement are so infuriated that what they've tried so far has failed to formally bring down the axe on him they've lost all rationality.

It's beyond squalid.

I'd pitchfork Kenwright out all day, but I'd never be a party to that.

Sorry, but not in my name.

Moshiri will see him off in the summer either by the sale of the club or part sale to people insisting on a new boardroom.

There's some shameful stuff going on at this club. Right at the moment we need focus there's people who no doubt want to show how they can run this club better willing to shove a big 'kin stick into a hornets nest. I for one will never forgive them.
