No more excuses. Its now or never. There will never be a "right time" to protest against Kenwright and Moshiri and their creatures on the board. Even if we stay up next this season, the same people decrying protest now will be saying to hold off and not disrupt the start of the campaign. They'll do the same thing if we do down too, saying that we all need to be united in the championship, totally ignoring the fact that everyone is united against the common foe. If we keep waiting for the "right time" it'll never happen. Ten years from now we'll still be being told to hold off after getting fisted 5-0 at home to Dorking Wanderers because we'd be jeopardising our relegation battle in the Conference!

This has been ongoing for years Dave, Kenwright has made sure 'it's never the time and place'.
I wouldn't agree with that swap personally, yet, but the downward spiral we've been on during his tenure means only one outcome.
With him it's inevitable, without him, who knows?
It's like the Bob Crow quote 'if you fight you won't always win, but if you don't fight you will always lose'. We're there.
If you believe encouraging a spat with that idiot is a good thing at this point in time then I really dont know what.

Anyone with a couple of brain cells to rub together can prioritise this.

It seems from his petty and vindictive broadside yesterday that the self-titled Chairman Bill believes that the majority of the Everton fanbase still supports him, and so is attempting to pursue the narrative that Alltogethernow are merely a bunch of disruptive troublemakers who don't understand Everton and the trojan work that it's board does to bring success to the club.

It's sad really, but it's even sadder that some fans have bought into this narrative and are turning on the rest of us for supporting the rallies and protests. Worse, they claim that the action taken has affected the club's chances of staying in the Premier League. This of course plays straight into Chairman Bill's hands as it divides the fanbase as he would wish in order that he can claim that the club's suppporters are not united against him.

People need to get their priorites right here. The action taken is addressing the long-term issues at the club. If we sit our hands and do nothing there is 100% guarantee that we will be in exactly the same position this time next year. As you say, there are some that still need to wake up and smell the coffee.

23 years is enough. The time for change is long overdue.
Is it 15 years since the strategy of calling out ' a bunch of drunken knobhead Evertonians'?
Same tactics, wash, rinse repeat...

I think the time is long overdue. The time has been ongoing for many of us for a long, long time. That many, many more Evertonians have seen his position as untenable over the last few years tells you more about the snidey, confrontational tactics he uses, how he gets other Evertonians, like yourself, to shield him from criticism and responsibilities, how he uses his own CEO's skirt to hide behind and then shove her under a bus. No. The time is right and me and my couple of braincells (I thought you were above that) will just crack on calling out this absolute stain on our club at every opportunity.

I’d have more respect for some of them if they just spoke their mind and said they don’t want protests at all, at any time but they won’t.

Let’s be honest we have a virtuous element to this fan base that is driven to not be seen to be like “them” , you know who I mean and it’s nonsense. It doesn’t work. We don’t have to be seen to be like anybody and frankly I couldn’t care less what fans of other clubs think who have zero interest or desire to see Everton do well.

These last twenty or so years has really messed up the mentality of the fan base , in which wanting to see better than second rate is put down with fear mongering that things will get worse .

That’s deliberate by some of course, some fans have clearly benefited from this regime and any clean sweep of staff could see their perks compromised. I hold them in contempt as well as the board. No integrity.

How can you see THIS moment as the right time to destabilise the club - or help others to?

That letter to Kenwright was beyond 'kin stupid. Only people intent on priortiisng a fight with the board over a fight with our relegation rivals would have done so. That is unforgivable.

The 'brain cells' comment was a general jibe and not at anyone in particular.

Dave, the.club is already destabilised it cant and won't get any worse

It's also ironic that by responding to ATN about his health and making public that he has issues, he has in effect validated the question they asked about his fitness to continue running a football club. This would suggest that despite all the faux outrage there was a genuine reason for referencing it.

The more dignified thing to do of course would have been to say nothing, but he couldn't resist. What a shame.
