I would give David Moyes 99% of the credit for that lad, the perfect manager for a penniless Everton, remember we had to sell our best players every year to buy new ones, we also went two years, four transfer windows were we never bought a first team player.

We sold the training ground off, the Park End carpark, remember the embarrassment of us trying to build "Everton place" on it ? Then being told we couldn't because Kenwright had sold the land off. Remember owing the next two seasons season ticket money ? Being in debt to dubious foreign off shore companies, also a £30m loan to Bear Stearns ?

Two failed ground moves, the King Dock, Samuelson laughed out of an EGM over his fictional investment, the money's ringfenced, the ground won't pass it's safety certificate, ( we are still playing in it now) . The Arteta money, Rooney sold for initial £10m fee the rest on add ons, Bills mum crying down the phone, Alex Ferguson laughing about it, wouldn't have sold him for £50m ? His sale actually saved us from administration. Yeah mate we were much better off then. # Good times. And guess whose still the Chairman with a handpicked board and banned EGM' s yes Bill Kenwright, the one constant of nearly three decades of no trophies. Get back in you're box ! And I know I've missed loads, what an owner, what a Chairman, so keep on thinking...what would Evertons board do ? The answer is to go into hiding, go underground when the going gets tough... And blame the fans, try and throw them under a bus.
Ok, that’s a very fair argument

I think Moyes thrives at clubs where there's low expectation and relatively little pressure. Us and West Ham were perfect for him in that sense.

Could say Moyes has lose it lost some of his drive and hunger over the years, truth was we probably had them and to a large extent wasted them. I always wonder if we would have had a billionaire owner in Moyes early days, him and his scouting team always had an eye for a player. Plus it was a bit easier in his early days no real money teams, now it seems everyone's rich...except us like.

The cheek of him still taking a £1m wage after pocketing £40m from the idiot for his shares without ever spending a penny of his own money.

He’s the perfect example of an actual parasite.

Fat pig.
It has been noted many times that the 1m is wage only. There are very significant other expenses in the club annually. Would love to know how much of it this slug is drawing down.

I have no doubt at all Bill makes a great host and has a lot of friends to keep happy and it will be mostly on his expenses card...

These are the reasons why he has to be placed under pressure and forced out. He has been handsomely rewarded for being a total incompetent lacking in leadership skills.
In other businesses the underperforming individuals are cut adrift.

There has to be some reason why Moshiri has never dumped him. God knows why.
You probably don’t need to look any further than the approx £150m funding the club gets from R&M… a body BK has used previously to raise money for the club even, if it is at higher interest rates than high street banks.

If the current R&M facility was negotiated by Kenwright, it’s not entirely without question that were he to be forcibly removed by Moshiri that R&M might/could/would immediately demand full reimbursement… and that would give Moshiri something of a headache and possibly a personal cash flow problem.

From the very moment BM got planning permission, Moshiri has been seeking financing for it and has failed miserably, due in no small part to the pathetic state of the accounts year on year.

In a nutshell, the biggest funding the club has received outside of Moshiri continuing to pump in his own cash in exchange for shares etc, has come from R&M… and that’s where Kenwright gets his safety net from.
