That whole period was a disgusting web of corruption.

Symbolised by a Keystone Cops-type boat chase across the Mediterranean to try to catch Paul Gregg and get him to sign an NDA before he spilled the beans on it all.

Trevor Birch was one of the most esteemed in the business at the time and we were hugely tipped to go down, if this forum would have been going then there would have been a meltdown!

Kenwright has always been as bent as a tenbob note for those who cared to notice, he is/ was the owner/ Chairman equivalent of Boris Johnson, I bet the man could not lie straight in bed. He lied thd very first minute when he got control of Everton " I am only a custodian of Everton, until a better owner comes along".
Bill never had any intention of letting Everton go, he borrowed money from the start to gain control and put us in massive debt, we were never the same again. I would love to know where he got the money for his shares.
