Moshiri can just remove him as chairman whenever he wants. He can’t force him to sell his few remaining shares, but he can take the title of chairman off him and he won’t do it. Moshiri clearly doesn’t want him to leave.

I honestly don't think it's as simple as Moshiri not wanting him to leave. Every man and his dog knows that Bill's position at Everton is untenable, including Moshiri.

In theory, Moshiri could remove his chairman title from Bill, but hasn't. Moshiri is on a hiding to nothing if he is seen as keeping Bill at the club.

If Moshiri was trying to stop Bill from leaving then why not announce it? Nah, I'm convinced this is Bill playing dirty.

He basically already has, his statement in January was enough to show me that he wants Kenwright at the club.

I agree with this, but if I was Moshiri I'd want to keep Kenwright around (knowing that the fans are unhappy with him) to let him take some flak away from me. Whether it is that simple though, I don't know. However, I'm sure that's why the Chelsea owner, for example, kept Lampard around despite his terrible record last season.
