Doubt it, there’s only one person with power at Everton since mosh became majority shareholder.
Kenwright has simply been a meddling, incompetent stooge for Mosh ever since.
As previously suggested I agree there’s some behind the doors stuff Kenwright can probably use as a bit of leverage but ultimately he’s not got any real power there.
Then why won’t he get rid of him? It may not be a power struggle in the strictest sense of the word, but an owner with circa 94% of the shares top trumps a Chairman. Outside of the political leverage Kenwright may have had in that the rest of the Board followed, I struggle to think of a single reason Moshiri keeps him on (unless as I have stated previously Moshiri is just about the stadium and a Kenwright has little to do with that). Other than that and just general laziness I am stumped as to why he has been kept on

Actually even though I’m responding to my own post, someone just said it elsewhere - it may be that Kenwright simply draws fire for him and deflects criticism from Moshiri.

My take, for whats its worth, is that it most likely following proceeds. As in, a company has to have a board/chairman, so until Moshiri has lined up replacements, we will have the present one. That said, why Moshiri cant just promote existing execs is a mystery.

well why if he’s doing an interim board? that should be including numb nuts

I hope @GrandOldTeam won't mind if very shortly I post a link to a special @TalkingtheBlues podcast that Paul @theesk our George and myself have just recorded.
In it, our George poses a question and a possible solution in relation to removing the road block/log jam that is Bill Kenwright.

I respectfully ask all Blues to give it a listen and respond with your comments.
