48 non-consecutive hours maybePerhaps the 48 hours was a genuine mistake and they actually meant 480 hours
I'll never feel sorry for him...made a fortune off the back of the club while contributing to its downfall. As much as I hate the decline he's caused this club I'm starting to feel sorry for him.
Like a child holding their toy crying to not get if took off them.
Then why won’t he get rid of him? It may not be a power struggle in the strictest sense of the word, but an owner with circa 94% of the shares top trumps a Chairman. Outside of the political leverage Kenwright may have had in that the rest of the Board followed, I struggle to think of a single reason Moshiri keeps him on (unless as I have stated previously Moshiri is just about the stadium and a Kenwright has little to do with that). Other than that and just general laziness I am stumped as to why he has been kept onDoubt it, there’s only one person with power at Everton since mosh became majority shareholder.
Kenwright has simply been a meddling, incompetent stooge for Mosh ever since.
As previously suggested I agree there’s some behind the doors stuff Kenwright can probably use as a bit of leverage but ultimately he’s not got any real power there.
Actually even though I’m responding to my own post, someone just said it elsewhere - it may be that Kenwright simply draws fire for him and deflects criticism from Moshiri. Then why won’t he get rid of him? It is mate...I just they're getting their ducks in row. Also I think they wanted to make sure all the previous board where gone first...this temp board are just a formality nowt to worry about.
My take, for whats its worth, is that it most likely following proceeds. As in, a company has to have a board/chairman, so until Moshiri has lined up replacements, we will have the present one. That said, why Moshiri cant just promote existing execs is a mystery.
Flush over and over again??I hope @GrandOldTeam won't mind if very shortly I post a link to a special @TalkingtheBlues podcast that Paul @theesk our George and myself have just recorded.
In it, our George poses a question and a possible solution in relation to removing the road block/log jam that is Bill Kenwright.
I respectfully ask all Blues to give it a listen and respond with your comments.
