Bill Kenwright

Then why won’t he get rid of him? It may not be a power struggle in the strictest sense of the word, but an owner with circa 94% of the shares top trumps a Chairman. Outside of the political leverage Kenwright may have had in that the rest of the Board followed, I struggle to think of a single reason Moshiri keeps him on (unless as I have stated previously Moshiri is just about the stadium and a Kenwright has little to do with that). Other than that and just general laziness I am stumped as to why he has been kept on
Kenwright remains the focus of the fan bases ire. Once’s he’s gone Mosh is next in the firing line, unless he finds another willing stooge, which is possibly harder then it might seem now the board have been ousted. Anyone going there just for the money needs have a veneer of professionalism to continue to provide mosh with a shield. Again finding someone who both appears professional yet has no professional morals is again probably harder than it appears.
Tbf Kenwright is perfect for him, evertonian, affable around the boardrooms and skin thicker than a crocodile.

Kenwright from now on - with every second that passes

It might be better Andy giving the poll it's own thread.
I'll leave it here Crusty as it's relevant to the Kenwright Thread... and by rights, this issue needs to/should be resolved in just a few days - providing all the parties involved are acting like adults.

* not holding my breath on this

It was a good listen the podcast. I’m not sure about the purchasing of shares from BK (unless I misinterpreted it’s meaning) other than to want him completely severing ties from the club, because there is no legal connection between his shareholding and being the Chairman. If the only issue people have is him being on the board (which I think it is) purchasing his shares does not effect that other than Moshiri is not willing to do what must be done.

I cant be the only person laughing at you referencing mr sack here by his first name only.

Have now added a poll - only open for 4 days ;) ;)

I may have missed sommet mate, but the issue isnt that Kenwright owns a few shares. And yeah, I did dip into the pod cast, but didnt fancy an hour of it. If Moshiri wanted to appoint Donald Duck as Chairman, he could. Subject to any agreement he has with Kenwright. Non of us know the facts about that.

In the podcast, several clubs were named as "fan owned". Doncaster, AFC Wimbledon, are the two I recall. To get EFC "fan owned", the 96% owner would need to be bought out. Or we buy it out of administration. One is more likely than the other.

I'd give and have given plenty of money to the club but I'm never being held to ransom by Kenwright in an effort to make him do the honourable thing. He just needs to resign.

We know the issue isn't that Kenwright owns shares and we discuss at length that his share ownership is irrelevant to the chairmanship... the issue is he appears to be demanding an extortionate amount for his shares before agreeing to go.
Moshiri can and should elbow him irrespective of any agreement they may have between themselves.

I'm biased, but, listen to the whole podcast.

Haven't listened to the podcast but seen the poll and wondering is this a real option? As there would be nothing more fitting than bill being kicked out and his shares falling into the hands of real fans.
Seriously mate, listen to the podcast first.
And yes, it is a real option.
