Kenwright and his (alleged) demands for his shares is nothing to do with MSP and they’re under no obligation to buy them. Kenwright allegedly has an agreement with Moshiri for him to buy them at an alleged agreed price per share.
Moshiri, given his desperate need to acquire the investment from Andy Bell, George Downing and MSP, clearly hasn’t got the liquid cash to settle with Kenwright and so, Kenwright is digging his heels in with regards to relinquishing the chairmanship.
This is all down to Moshiri for allegedly agreeing to keep Kenwright as Chairman indefinitely, not having the stomach to oust Kenwright right on Day One or at any time since and seemingly, even less stomach to ousting him now.
