So are you suggesting that going with Johnson was a bad thing and we should have gone with Kenwright earlier?
Bearing In mind that we won our last trophy under Johnson and also the new Park End Stand was built.
At least Johnson knew when his time was up where as Kenwright will not leave till he is carried out in a box.
Of course I may have completely misread the gist of your post.
Exactly.

Johnson "had a go" and stuck his hand in his pocket and spent HIS OWN MONEY. Kenwright has not once put a penny of personal wealth into Everton. (he even borrowed money off his friends to buy Johnsons shares, only to screw them over Kings Dock when they wanted a greater say in things.)

Johnsons business started to fail in a big way and he had to basically dump Everton. Kenwright is the polar opposite. Begged, borowed, lied.... All to stay relevant.

He disgusts me.

A notorious chairman and everyone's favourite slug from star wars.

Gotta love AI.

GET OUT.

Hes not destroying the club.

Hes destroyed it, the rot started in 1992, other clubs took advantage of the vast wealth on offer while Uncle Virus sat on his arse and milked the limelight.
Totally agree and personally hold him responsible for our current plight. Said it before but if he had got a documented agreement in place when selling to Moshiri, with roles agreed and specified, then Moshiri may have been less able to meddle. I accept that, stadium apart, Mosh's actions have worsened our plight. However he would not have been able to do so if Kenwright had overseen a functioning Board with a proper business plan. I do not believe that there has ever been one in place, which is no way to run a multi million pound business.

I asked previously and no-one offered an answer. Is it necessary that somebody must buy his shares to get him out. Or can he retire to Timbuktu and take his shares with him? If it is the former, maybe that's why he sticks around.

No. His shares are an irrelevance. Owning shares are not a Chairman stipulation. Subject to any contracts that were signed when Moshiri took over, he could remove him by tea time if he wanted to.
