Don’t know why a chairman has to be legally tied to a football club.

He’s here because of his ego and Moshiri being incapable of putting the right people in place, nothing more.

If he has a contract with Moshiri, then legally he has to stay, or sue the club/Moshiri.

As above. It may be written into the contract for the sale of the club. Im not saying its true but those rumours were from a few years ago and look where we are. Why on earth would he still be here if Moshiri could bin him?

You could tell last season the justified scrutiny from Everton supporters and the media was affecting him or he wouldn't have released that asinine letter , but since the season ended the pressure subsided and he probably feels safe to resume the status quo of mediocrity and ineptitude that has defined his stewardship. If people want hm truly removed protests need to be constant, substantial and visible to the media otherwise he'll just keep slithering on

What was his reason for not going to the Fulham game?
There was no protests, none were planned.
Was there still a security alert in place?
I'm presuming the club said nothing about the chairman being absent for the opening game of the season.
