To me Bill lived and breathed Everton. He was the biggest Evertonion out there. What an amazing life he has had. Thoughts are with your family, friends and the Everton community. A sad day!

Everyone knows that Bill was Everton through and through and our club was the love of his life. Equally, he was fundamentally a very kind man given to many unseen gestures to people in need, be it financially or to raise their spirits.

In the midst of things going wrong over the years, the man still got some things so very right....and made us proud to be Blue especially in bad times in our City uniting our clubs.
