Bin day

Think I might make a spreadsheet here. Not sure I'll ever remember all these. My bin gets collected every other day including Sunday and my council tax is €2 a month. Viva Espana

Tuesday, the time is wild though, sometimes it's 9am sometimes it's like 8pm. I just shove mine outside at 6 before work to make sure they're gone then hopefully come home and they haven't been robbed (happens all the time on my street).

The week leading up to Bonfire night is the worst.

Melted plastic and burnt rubbish everywhere.

Purple on a Thursday then every 2weeks
Blue (for papers/cardboard etc. the following Thursday when purple does not come, then every 2 weeks.
And Green for Garden rubbish etc when they do that - from march or something to October think it is on same date as blue gets took)

Thursdays. One week the black bin (household), the next week the green bin (recycling).

Don’t have a garden waste bin as I refuse to pay the fees for that and just stick it in bin bags in my boot and take it to the tip.

Oh joyful day! What excitement doth fill the air, for lo and behold, a thread of great import is brought forth! A thread about Bin Collections, a matter most wondrous and dear to our hearts.

Surely, this thread shall bring great mirth and jubilation, for who amongst us hath not felt the thrill of a Bin Collection Day? A day of merriment and delight, a day where the refuse of our daily lives is taken away and cast into the depths of oblivion, never to be seen again.

As the morn breaks, the clatter of lorries can be heard throughout the streets. The air is filled with a sense of anticipation and excitement, as the townsfolk peer out of their windows and doors, eager to catch a glimpse of the collection crew.

And lo, as the crew approaches, a great cheer goes up from the people, for the day of reckoning is at hand. The refuse of the town is gathered and placed with great care into the waiting lorries, to be taken away and disposed of in a manner befitting such filth.

And as the lorries disappear into the distance, the people of the town let out a great sigh of relief, for the blight upon their community has been lifted, and once more they can live in peace and prosperity.

Oh, how sweet is the joy of Bin Collection Day, and how fervently we do await its return each and every week!
