I did. But Donovans gone after today and Anichebe will play his part in our run in and he needs match fitness. He'll come off again for Donovan as he builds it, as he has in the last couple of matches.

Actually gave us an aerial presence, got on the end of a lot of Howard's goal kicks and generally found a blue shirt. I'm not saying he's better than Landon, he's not, but he can certainly do a decent job on the wing. I generally tend to avoid slating/praising a player too much if I haven't seen the whole game, but I was there on Sunday and thought Victor played well. Just my opinion like.

But why wait? Donovan did more for me in 5 minutes then Anichebe did in all his time on the pitch.
I know were not allowed to openly criticise the players here mate (Distin) but I just can't see what it is that people like in this lump.

I can understand the Anichebe selection, even if i'm not too happy about it.

Wouldn't it be a better option to build up Gosling's match fitness? Certainly rate him a lot more than I do Anichebe. Although not convinced that he's gonna make it at PL level.

im not convinced yet about anichebe on the wing (i think hes a lower league standard in that position ) but i also beleive he has showed more promise than vaughan.
anichebe has european goals , not many injuries and is an international.
against hull he did ok , but i noticed he came central a few times , while osman went wide. this 'tactic' wont work today becouse cahill is playing instead of osman.
