We need to get in between their two deep banks of four i would go with Arteta and Rodwell with the Heit anchoring thier midfeild, Rodwell is strong breaking forward a part of his game we have seen more and more against Utd and Hull and Arteta for his penetration, skill and creativity flanked by Landon and Pienaar hopefully that will give us the pace and quality to break down Brum spoing tactics that we have struggled to do in previous games.

LD is playing too??? Sweet. I thought his loan was over?
Not over yet. This is slated to be his last game. It worked out very well that my Everton away top arrived here in LA yesterday. I wore it yesterday and got a few questions by random people on what the shirt was.

I have a bad feeling about this match. Hull were poor & it was obvious that our finishing was below par on Sunday. I think if we're gonna win, that'll be the key: finishing our chances. We won't get 20 shots like we did against Hull on Sunday. Birmingham are a much better side than the Tigers, and the scoreline will reflect that.

I say Birmingham 2-1 Everton.

Jags wont let them shoot. We will be fine!

Neville - Jagielka - Distin - Baines

Heitinga

Anichebe - Arteta - Pienaar

Cahill

Yakubu

Subs:
Nash, Yobo, Rodwell, Gosling, Donovan, Hibbert, Bilyaletdinov

This confirms my belief over the last 2 weeks that DM is putting his faith in Anichebe to fill Donovans boots for the rest of the season. Just been getting up to match fitness.
Or LD isn't leaving yet.

I go with my first instinct.

It's strange that he's keeping both Bilyaletdinov and Donovan on the bench for Victor Anichebe. I have nothing against Victor, he's a useful player, but he's not a better option than the players mentioned.

Plenty of options on the bench.

However, if Yak gets injured (or has a stinker) we only have Anichebe and perhaps LD as the alternative for the lone striker.
Or Timmy.

Like I said, loads of options!

Oh FFS. Cahill waltzes back into the team.

He'll have a stinker and we'll lose 3-0.

Totally agree, I know Billy has been off the pace but surely he is a better option than Big Vic!
