You are right about that.
The insults one reads on this forum about our own players is unbelievable.
I don't see Everton players getting slagged off on other football forums the way they are here.
Except in cases where they think they have a reason to hate a perticular player.....Hammers and McCarthy for example.
But are we unique in this?
If I was on an Arsenal fan forum for example, would I see the same vitriol directed against their own players the way Del, Mirallas, Rom. Ross, Stek, Joel, Jags, RFM et al are subjected to by some fellows on here?
Not to mention perennial whipping boys like Hibbo, Ossie or McGeady.

Check redcafe out, check what some say about fellaini, lindgard, Jones, smalling, rooney mate.
Check what the rs where saying about mingolet, Henderson a few seasons ago.
Check arsenal fan tv, are what things are frequently said about there players.
Check United fans booing fellaini coming on, check arsenal fans singing your not fit to wear the shirt at the players especially bellerin.
Check the abuse ronaldo and bale have both received at times from real Madrid fans at games.

Aye, been going and watching footy for over thirty years, every single sets of fans at some point or another gives their own players dogs, and we have a long history of doing so
