Ok who honestly thinks anything will happen regarding the stadium with this lot in charge???

I'd personally like to see a redeveloped Goodison Park.

I'd also like to see less unneccesary tension in this thread than the board thread.

Blue Union seem to spilt opinion as much as the board they're so heavily against do.

Everton are a dying club similar to Leeds United, only difference we haven't been relegated yet.We can't compete in this city because of the RS influence everywhere ,there will always be obstacles in our way.

Compete in what way with the shyte mate? Winning trophies? They aren't doing great themselves? Signing players? Their top ones always seem keen to leave. There's been 2 teams in this city for forever and a day and history says we've always done o.k

Difference is they seem to have a pro active board whilst unfortunately we have a "can't do/won't do" and have a similar mentality in that they have mentioned its tough to compete with Liverpool.

I think we ain't asking too much for 4 bloody stands to be upgraded are we, or is that still currently impossible under this board and even with so much money swimming about in the PL

think part of it is their owners are very experienced running a sports team (same owner as the Boston Red Sox) while Kenwright, Elstone, etc don't have that background. not saying it's excusable but does make sense

Compete for progress and limelight is what I meant. You only have to recall when they were still trying to build on Stanley park a few years back , we were told by the council that we had to wait and see what LFC do before we could make progress on a stadium decision. We soon won't be able to attract much local support once they have a 60K state of the art stadium, it's what people expect in the premier league these days.

Not sure if they've more on their site, but have just seen this retweeted onto my time line

Who's planning on paying for this?

Looks great and I'd love to see it, but where's the funding planned from?

Anyone can knock up a design. Need to have the board onside for it to occur. Without a plan for cash it's just as pie in the sky as anything the board are accused of.

I'm not taking sides, just saying. I'm actually pro-redeveloping GP, I'd like it.

I totally agree they seem to know what they are doing ( except their transfer policy lol ) and I think at the first given opportunity they will look to sell the RS for a profit. Kenwright has had 20 odd years to get it right but seems no nearer to getting the "investment or sale" he says he's the best man to get it for us.

Blue Union split opinion because the majority of supporters prefer to bury there heads in the sand and sneer at any group of supporters who are prepared to stand up and not accept the party line spoon fed to us by the club.
Nothing will change until the club hits rock bottom and ends up in the championship the trouble is then it will be to late as once we lose premiership status we may never get it back.
Backing the BU or any group with a similar agenda does not make supporters anti Everton, the board are not the club I was supporting Everton long before Kenwright ,Earl and Woods got their strangle hold on the club and will be after they have gone.
