What happened to all the main guys off of there? I seem to remember a split and large exodus..

Someone started another forum, and a load left. Not sure if the other forum is still going.

I had a war room on the new forum.

Unfortunately, their forum was causing them some headaches - forum moderation can be a thankless task so they closed their forum for months but didn't give their membership the courtesy of any explanation.

They then suddenly brought it back, but with annoying video adverts on every single page.

Disappointing.

It was my first ever forum before i knew of GOT btw, used to be massive loads of members no doubt a few off here too.

Just logged in to see posts over a year old 2nd down in some sections.

What was the reason anyone know it collapsed on its arse?

I was on it for years, The Magnificent Dodo sticks in my mind as someone who was a great poster on there. But like the Walter Smith era you didn't realise how bad it had got until change was forced on us. I seem to remember someone, possibly a German poster, complained at being bullied & the shutdown all escalated from there.
