Joe Royle , Bob Latchford my Everton heros , went to more games when Latchford played , some memorable goals , one that sticks out was the 1980 FACSF , West Ham amazing how he got to a low cross at an angle and headed in , right in front of me in the KOP , unfortunately ended up in vain , as it was for "The Latch " , reckon one of the best Everton players not to win a Trophy

Yes mate. You're correct. I remember being gutted at the time that Howard and Archie Styles had gone. Cause I still thought Howard had something to offer and Styles was one for the future, which obviously wasn't the case. But also, over the moon that we'd got the Latch and thought he'd be the catalyst for greatness once again.
