Boss photos you've taken

Nice work, Prof. Take photos of them while you can, it really looks like they're going to be demolished soon. A shame, my brother lives right beside the Salthill/Monkstown station and I love looking at them.
Thanks Pre
I walk down at Poolbeg a lot and just love the views and the way the weather changes and of course the towers.
I just hope that they arent knocked as they represent Dublin to me more than anything else
Love flying into Dublin and seeing them in the distance

Aye, they represent Dublin to me far more than that giant cock they put up in O'Connell Street. There's a lot of people who don't want them torn down, but it seems sadly inevitable to me at this stage.

First hoverfly this year into the garden - I found it on the floor, and placed it on a flower or two, hoping it would pick up a bit of energy. The cold evening air is I assume the reason for it being lethargic. Syrphus torvus.

Stunning those.
Do you have a background in entomology perchance?

It works really well with the yellow flowers as well, lovely contrast with the eyes.

Yeah, not a big fan of the bugs, as I've said before, but I love that first pic! :)

Not one of mine, but one of my aunts who does a lot of phootgraphy and making items for pet cages etc...

Found this lady spider on the wall after shooting a different insect (pics later).

Quite accommodating - didn't move when I got the gear as near as I could. Venus 2:1 lens, 1.4x TC & 12mm tube, with diffused ring flash.

Amazing pic, wish I could digest the spiel on how to use a camera properly, I just point and shoot, and hope for the best.

Back to the spider:

She was on the wall just outside of the back door tonight, but that background is just, well, just brick, so I thought I would try and move her to the ground level where the lowest brick had some moss on it.

So in the second photo, she is on my finger, and the third on the mossy bit of wall when she didn't mind my intervention. The last, she seemed less willing to cooperate and went sort of defensive, so I left her alone to find herself a new place in the night.
