Boss photos you've taken

Of all the insects in my garden, the one I probably hate the most, is the earwig.

A friend took a photo of one on Sunday and as it happened, I then found so I had to get the camera out. Despite them being horrid creatures, they do make excellent photographic subjects...

The penultimate one below is uncropped, using 2 tubes on the Venus 60mm, the last one has only a slight rotational crop just to get the composition better placing the antenna into the very corner for the lead-in line.

Paul.

We were on Paxos a couple of weeks ago and took loads of scenery pics, some of which I'll post up when I've gone through 'em all.

One evening the light on the water was nigh on perfect when we were walking back and there was a splash of colour on a rock in the water so I got my camera out, snapped, and forgot all about it till this evening when we started sorted through them.

Anyway, I call this one "Swimmer on the rocks"

I bet you had the camera on a rock whilst you developed a polaroid

Now then grandad

Haha, you can mock son, but she spoke with a lovely Italian accent rather than a lanky or kirkby accent !

We went down to the beach soon after and the missus went over to her and her mate to show them the pics we'd taken, because, quite frankly they are good arty pics. They were made up ( or whatever made up is in Italian ) and we've got her email address and will send them on to her.

They also asked me to take some pics of them together on one of their cameras and, being the helpful gent that I am, I was happy to oblige.
I'd like to think that if the missus wasn't there then one of them would have jumped on my old bones, but I'm pretty sure they were a couple so that probably wasn't too likely !

I'm fully digital these days mate, 30 seconds to finish is a thing of the past, totally instant now.
