I was trying to get a small 2-spot ladybird, but as she rambled through the twigs, I saw something come into view - and this photobombing bug is something I can't identify...

She was only about 5 or 6mm in size, so you can imagine how tiny this little critter is...

Not seen many of them this year - but this harvestman was hurrying along next doors fence panel in the darkness... and I see it's lost a piece of the leg-like pedipalp on it's right hand side...

The bug and ladybird were head height, and most frog spit is a lot lower than that as rule.

However, you might be right, or it's a thrip. One of the two...
