Back to normal guys and gals
These are actually both around about 1mm to 1.5mm in size - so that's small in every sense!
I have shown 2 of each image - the first of each is uncropped, and then one where I have cropped in a bit to see them a little more clearly.
Elongtate bodied springtail: (possibly Isotomurus sp. though I am unsure)...
Globular springtail: (possibly Dicyrtomina ornata?)
Both were very hard to get to - on top of the rain-sodden recycling bin, and I could barely even see them with the naked eye unless they moved!
