Boss photos you've taken

So on a night-time excursion, I found another subject, but in an awkward place, so I went for the tripod, and thought I'd show you what I do just to get a photograph!

The usual suspects were here, a larva or grub, of some beetle maybe, the harvest men were around, a fly on a flowerhead, and the main reason.... The tripod was to enable me to move slowly closer as carefully as I could so as not to disturb my goal...
Great to see how you manage to get these photo's ;)

As a recently approved ambassador for LAOWA Optics, they have kindly sent me their 15mm wide angle 1:1 macro lens to have a play with. These are the first pics I have edited with it.

It's a quirky lens (even has a shift function!) and is quite a challenge to use - the closest focussing distance has the subject almost touch the lens!

Being a wide angle lens, it gives a totally unique perspective which is both tough, but fun to use... Changing from f/4 to f/32 makes a huge difference to the BG...

It's good and sharp for macro too, considering its price, this is very good!

They`re at that late Summer / early Autumn grumpy stage at the moment, when they seem to sting just for the fun of it !!

They have nothing left to do with their queens so now they eat the fruit, and get lozzed, and that makes them angry, and that's why we get stung so much in late autumn, rather than in the summer, when they care not for us, but for the brood at the nest.

Paul.

Cheers Joey, hows the new car going ?
Got two now ones a Skoda hatchback - virtually VW - the Ford ex father in laws gift to my wife got condemned in the MOT .... so we took a ride to Llanberis went like a dream - what a beautiful day plus a lovely place - that Coffee pot café there is a great meal

My next run is around Beeston at the back of Delamere in 2 weeks time and my next Welsh one, is in November, in the mountains around Betswycoed ( if it goes ahead )

Despite all restrictions being lifted, a lot of the races have been cancelled in North Wales this year, as their crazy councils have deemed them to be a public health risk - I`ve had two moved ( again to next year already )
