A moorhen from todays walk around Carr Mill Dam on a beautiful day that seemed more like june than November/
Some fall trees.
This first one I really couldn't capture the yellow, but these two trees in my front yard are very yellow:
And the other night, we all went for a walk and this tree was bright red, and nicely illuminated at night.

Can't tell for sure but the bottom one might be a Pistache.
I wasn't the hired photographer but took the camera to take some photos myself - wedding of my niece Chloe and her partner Simone.

This is I believe Trichopsocus brincki - found on the waste bin in the garden which I had just filled with branches from a leylandii conifer - will have come from the conifer for sure. The others are also Psocids - though at the moment I am not able to give a definitive ID on those, but they are likely to be at least 2 different sub-species. The T.brincki was about 3mm long - the others were around just 1mm. Used extension tubes on the LAOWA 60D for the photos.

The conifer pieces in the recycling bin revealed a few more inhabitants during the night that came out and walked across the lid of the recycling bin...

Spotted this little one tonight - about 2mm in size. Paidiscura pallens.
