Because starting him might mean we create chances to score and go against dyches whole narrative that we can only play defensively

I’m beginning to question this, if he does actually change his defend at all costs philosophy and it brings a positive result he will rightly be asked what took him so long to change the obvious for a team who have not been coached to score goals

He plays because he can do defensive side on midfield, that’s all that’s on Dyche mind. Completely neglects anything going forward for a clean sheet and a chance at a set piece. As probably you and many others have said get 2 strikers up there.
