Also, snides just jogged back when they scored. No good enough. Beni would have sprinted back.

Snides, McCarthy and jags clear weak links in today’s team.

Lennon works tirelessly but no end product and dcl is knackered and should have been rested.

Rooney for snides, bolasie for McCarthy and niasse for dcl. Play bolasie just behind niasse and have Rooney in the middle with gueye.

ATTACK
Lennon at least offers a threat going forward. There's often no end product like but he stretches defences which is more than can be said for the majority of our team. Hopefully we do see Rooney and bolasie on at half time and we actually have a go because these lot ship goals.

There is no creativity in this team the goalkeeper just hoofs it up to DCL who is totally isolated
the manager is setting the team up so negatively even crappy teams are finding it too easy to play against us so much possession eventually leads to mistakes and chances Fat Sam needs to change this plan sharpish
As for Kenny and Schneiderlin jogging back for that goal that was so bad

Because his teammates let him down too. And a through ball goes behind the defense mate. That didn't happen until the pass Wilson made to King that no one did anything about

Honestly if you think others to blame other than his self destructed pass ok lol. You can go and blame everything whether it is Schneiderlin, Kenny or Pickford.

Rooney has to come on. I want to fight Sam for leaving Vlasic out of the squad again, but Hell just get Bolasie and Niasse on the pitch before it is too late.
It was mentioned in the Vlasic thread that the young Croatian won’t get many minutes under Sam until he learns to defend for 90 minutes

He would be a great buy, but that isn't the problem Tim. Gueye could sit in there alone and do the job. We can't rely on Schneiderlin to focus for the full 90 anymore. He switches off far too often.

It's nothing to do with focus, effort, passion, commitment (insert other Unsworth buzzword cliché here). It's about quality on the ball. All our mids have no quality whatsoever nor the vision to even see a pass. And unfortunately the young kids in Benny and Davies look similar.

You can't play any form of effective football with no forward passing pivot. It's a crucial signing is a ball player.

Who did Sam think would support DCL? Three defensive midfielders in a line.. DCL runs around but poses no threat at all....Siggy is having one of his 40p rather than 40 million days..The team needs to be overhauled at half-time.. Gotta to feel sorry for the fans who made the trip because entertainment value is zero not one thing to be happy about.

Can't understand how fat Sam can say that, considering the reason we can't pass it forward is because he has us set-up with 10 men behind the ball.
Don't think that's fair. The squad is crap so even if we played 2 up top, ie vs liverpool, guess what they still aren't going to brave it past the half way line.

This 4321 formation is a joke. Makes it look we are playing with three up front till you realise one is an attacking midfielder who isn’t the most mobile, and the other is a winger who can’t score.

Oh and the striker is a kid.

A true self destruct is something like Gerrard slipping. We could have helped McCarthy and Schneiderlin specifically tried hard not to. I'm not happy with James but killing only him is off the mark

It's why Pienaar and Arteta were so absolutely crucial and boss. We controlled midfield with them.

To some extent we did with Barry too.
