Right had a few games now. Can see Sam's plan is not to lose has no idea how to set up to win.

We do look AT LOT more offensive minded than the last couple matches, and while it's great that we aren't parking the bus, making little back passes right and left with guys that have no offensive acumen doesn't accomplish anything. I love how we've pushed Martina and Kenny up a bit and the 3 DMs on the pitch we have can't cover for them adequately. The giveaways are the most embarrassing part of it, though.

If Big Sam wants to control the ball and the game, he MIGHT want to think about selecting players actually skilled enough to do it. The fact that Lookman, Vlassic, or Klaassen aren't even on the bench says it all.

I also do not understand why Lennon won't shoot the ball, he's had a BUNCH of chances on that side. DCL not shooting is annoying enough.

Our set pieces are also just tiresome. Man would N'Zonzi be a HUGE upgrade over Morgan. Where the heck is the threat to actually score off these things? Everyone else looks dangerous and we've been getting great delivery, yet nothing.

Jags is just so past it, Martina is worthless going forward, so that whole side is a big problem.

Don't think that's fair. The squad is crap so even if we played 2 up top, ie vs liverpool, guess what they still aren't going to brave it past the half way line.

A true self destruct is something like Gerrard slipping. We could have helped McCarthy and Schneiderlin specifically tried hard not to. I'm not happy with James but killing only him is off the mark

This team is worse than Moyes year II. Remember the Martinez era? Played some nice football then, this is utterly crap

absolutely loved the football during martinez first year. unfortunately it all went crap cause he had no idea how to put up a defence. He was lucky to get Moyes defence when he took over.

Wrong from the off today in fairness. 3 def mudfielders. Number 10 playing out wide. Zero pace. Dcl by himself and he aint great with support so is utter cack isolated so mit his fault today.

Big sam also sat down whole half. His first time doung that compared ti himself and little sam first number of matches. Players need to speed up game.

This squad isn't good, and neither are the players we've spent 150 odd million on.
