So in a fight where Mayweather let Logan swing and hug him, and nobody won because it was “exhibition” that saw both fighters get paid so handsomely that they dragged it out as long as possible to set themselves up for a rematch......what???? No way!!!!!

Seriously though kudos to both of them for successfully pulling of an amazing "how to get rich quick" scheme.

I've been shocked by the amount of people who honestly expected it to go differently. Supposedly serious fans to who apparently live in a dream world where Mayweather was going to just kill the YouTube fella five seconds into the fight. They approached the whole thing like it was serious as opposed to the very expensive pantomime that it really was.

Theres still some extremely talented fighters in the sport and boxing major events still generate huge interest. A lot of changes are needed with the belt issues etc. I wouldn't say the sport is in that bad a position. Especially in the UK.

Yeah Ritson isn't terrible, just not world level. Weird really as he's better than domestic but not really even European level. So he's in limbo.
