Boxing

Really enjoyable fight between Shieids and Marshall. Thought Shields dominated the first half of the fight then Marshall got back into it later on. Thought it was a convincing win for Shields and the best she’s looked in her professional career.

Wilders power is still there and is still a very dangerous man. Wilder vs Ruiz Jr should be made next. Be a interesting fight.

Not got round to watching Haney vs Kambosas rematch yet but looking forward to watching it today sometime.

Great fight that, Shields definitely looked the more skilled but Marshall was so tough, hung in there early on and came back quite strong but a UD was definitely the right call, as Shields landed the more solid, cleaner blows. Marshall has such a languid, but effective style (like a boxing version of Chris Waddle).

Oh dear.

Pathetic and predictable outcome.

We’ve seen this fight twice before. One were Fury outboxed Chisora and then a complete beat down of Chisora. Fury’s improved massively, Chisora had declined massively. Boring and pathetic from Fury. Sure they’ll be playing on his mental health issues to ramp up interest in this fight for it to break even.

Fully agree mate. I was at the last Fury-Chisora fight (a double-header with Us away at Spurs the next day). A dreadful, one-sided borefest- which made Holmes vs Tex Cobb look competitive- and ran on until about 1.45 in the morning, getting a cab outside was murder.

Honestly, i've got a feeling they might even 'fix' a round or so (Derek lands a blow and Fury's legs wobble -ala Holyfield vs Bert Cooper- but Tyson comes back, wins and then has a massive rant about how the critics know-nothing and this fight was justified. lol

Would be great if Chisora absolutely wiped him out. Be surprised if it last more than 4 rounds though and Fury knocks him out, retires, says he’s retiring because nobody wants to fight him. Despite both Joshua and Usyk wanting the fight.

I think the only thing that can save this monumental turd is if someone parachutes into the ring or there's a mass brawl at the end. Afterwards, Fury will call out Wilder for a 'once in a lifetime' 4th fight.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see the 4th fight happen actually. Wilder wants it, apart from Joshua, the isn’t a money fight other than 4th Fury fight to make.
