Boxing

Heard a few rumours about eubank pulling out, hopefully just smoke and mirrors as it's an interesting match up, and the first real marker of how good eubank jr is

Hope he doesn't, personally don't think he will. I think Eubank is more than capable of winning this, both him and Saunders are in fantastic shape and it looks to be a very good match up. Who are you siding with?

Saunders has a bit more experience, but I do think he has stamina issues, eubank jr has looked skillful at times but hasn't really faced anyone, and even then I'm not too sure about his defense, he looks very open at times, at least in this fight he against someone who will pressure him so we will see if he does have a defense and he will get less opportunity to arse about like when he's fighting guys picked for being a level below. Tough one to call as we don't really know just how good eubank jr is yet, if he can take saunders into the later rounds I think he can beat him, not a confident call this one, but if I have to call it I'd say eubank

Both really, but I meant Smith.
i would wait a bit to tangle with either of them , say another 4-5 fights, as walken said Degale can be a really awkward bugger if he is in the right frame of mind, and the last couple of fights he seems to be,
might be just a bit to ring savvy for callum smith at the moment.
If he keeps up his improvement he should beat both of them given time, but sometimes the development of fighters can get a bit rushed if there any good ,
Bellew is a case of that i think he was rushed when he turned pro, should have been given time to develop and find his feet, always seems to be thrown in , not planned development in in early fights.
I think he has sufferd for it as he is a more than decent boxer not just a banger, if he had been handled correctly we would have seen a more rounded fighter i feel.

as well as landing martin murray's public execution against GGG (hopefully murray can give a good account of himself as he's quite decent), channel 5 also have david price's next fight on the 6th of dec, of course they don't have a polished format like sky, but good to see someone on terrestrial fighting boxing's corner

Looking forward to seeing David Price's return, channel 5 are picking some great fights to show. Always enjoyed watching Tyson Fury on channel 5.

the guys he's fighting has a pretty much 50/50 record so he should look good, gives ch 5 a shot at price v fury should fury lose the chisora, otherwise that fight might be a bit bigger than them, they are never going to match the sky/hearns team, as you can see with degale, hennesy just couldn't get him the fights in a loaded division, but if they keep picking up decent fights hopefully they can get a bit of a following going. On sky/hearns, frank warren must have made the all time worst business decision setting up his own shop when he had the sky fights monopoly, and the hearn boys duly swept in and cleaned up
