Boxing

Yet another shocking decision in Vegas last night, despite his face being a mess it was a clear win for Bradley.

We had numerous shocking scores from CJ Ross before and Julie Leddermans 116-112 for Chavez last night was utterly mental, I know their male counterparts can be just as bad at times but some of the scores the females have been giving in huge boxing fights is alarmingly bad.

Terrible news that about Crolla last night, Fair play to him for confronting them. Instead of him trying to keep hold of one of them he should of knocked them both spark out. Cowards they are hitting him with a concrete slab.

what potential fights are we looking forward to in 2015

lee vs saunders will be a good little fight, wilder vs stirvine could be interesting if not top class, brook vs khan would genuinley excite me, froch vs chavez, degale getting a title shot, golovkin's public execution of the actually quite good martin murray, lomachenko moving forward, callum smith, joshua, seeing if andre ward still exists?

canelo v cotto

some big boxing news for you guys

anthony joshua has been ranked world number 8 in his division - this is a shock considering how inexperienced he is, its laughable really, he obviously has the talent but in effect the organisers are saying he is ready to fight for the world title already

chris eubank jnr who lost last time out will make his comeback fight against interim WBA world middleweight champion Dmitry Chudinov at The O2 on February 28.

On that same card Tyson Fury will face Christian Hammer

theres speculation that Carl Froch's world title defence match vs Julio Cesar Chavez Jnr on March 28 may not go ahead

Audley Harrision says he would like to comeback and would happily fight anthony joshua (we all know that this won't happen cos audley wouldn't even last 1 round)

we all know its speculation at the moment but it sounds like floyd mayweather jnr has suggested he won't fight khan because he's not well known enough yet to make a big money match, so it seems more than likely that the big match we've all been waiting for could be on the cards if a deal can be struck with pacquiao's camp - WHAT A MATCH THIS WOULD BE

Have any of you lot seen the videos on youtube of Shannon Briggs terrorising Wladimir Klitscho trying to get a fight set up some of the confrontations are hilarious.

Would love to see Canelo v Cotto, Fury V Joshua or Wilder and Khan v Pacquiao or Mayweather this year.

Hope Wilder can get past Stiverne their bout is in less than a fortnight. I Think Wilder will manage to beat Stiverne but wont keep up his KO streak or certaintly not his record of never going past the 4th round.

At the start of every year every boxing fan has a wish list of fights they would like to see, here goes mine.

The obvious, Mayweather Pacquiao still interests me, ok, this should have happened years ago but better late than never, I hope the fight happens early this year and not late on, I also believe the fight isn't the easy one for Floyd as many predict it will be. I struggle to see how either fighter can build up a fight against anyone else given the hype thats surrounded this potential fight being made in the last few weeks, if it doesn't happen next boxing fans could well get fed up with both fighters resulting in a knock on effect for both fighters next ppv numbers, although both would probably make near on $30m fighting someone else which means the fight could well fall by the wayside once again.

If it does then i'd like to see Manny and Khan, I think it would be a great fight and i'd back Manny to catch him eventually. Its actually tougher to pick one for Floyd, perhaps Khan too, or to without doubt seal his legacy a bout with GGG, who has stated his willingness to go up or down, this wont happen so less said the better.

Back to Golovkin, he hasn't half looked the part so far but in 2015 I really want to see him with a better level of fighter. Ideally, after he has ko'd Murray i'd like to see him fight the winner of Cotto/Alvarez should that fight be made. I dont see that as being the straight forward win for Alvarez as many predict, Cotto has been in with a far higher level of opponent than Saul over the years and is currently enjoying a renaissance under the guidance of Freddy Roach, might be biased because Cotto is one of my favourites but I think he takes that fight. It would be great if these got made and we found out who was the best at 160, if not I feel GGG will have to go up,maybe face Ward, another fighter who has been away from the ring far too long now.

Danny Garcia v Keith Thurman. Garcia is another fighter who needs a better class of opposition this year, having cleaned up at 140 a first fight at 147 against Thurman would interest many fans.

Klitschko v Fury, it would be interesting to see Wlad matched for height, but if i'm right it would also be nice to see Fury schooled, just a fight i'd like to see.

Stevenson v Kovalev, like earlier at 160, lets see who's the best at light heavy, i'd have to go with Kovalev if it came about.

Some decent bouts can be made domestically too. Brook v Khan, surely if the Mayweather Pacquiao fight comes about so does this. Lee Selby v Josh Warrington is another fight i'd love to see, with Selby hoping for world honours maybe it could happen at the back end of the year with a major title on the line.

At super bantam, everyone wants to see Frampton Quigg, surely this is the year for it, hopefully it doesn't lose its shine by one of them being beaten beforehand.

Finish up with two fights involving overseas fighters. Crawford v Mikey Garcia, it would mean Mikey going up and Crawford staying put, he has talked about going up, a great fight nonetheless if it could be made.
Rigondeaux v Lomachenko, what a fight this could potentially be, i'd back Loma, i'd love to see it.

Prob loads i'v left out, lets hope 2015 can be a good year for the sport and the fights people want to see get done.
