Kessler retired as well, good fighter, seemed a nice and all, been on the way down while still very competitive for a couple of years, good time to retire, and a good career behind him
fair play to froch for vacating, with the injury he could have held on to that title, but didn't want to sign up for a fight with degale so moved aside so degale as mandatory can get his shot, classy move

Might upset people on here with him being a local lad but Smith's constant claims that he was robbed the first time when he wasn't has been annoying, fair enough the cards were poor but he didn't do enough. I feel Abraham took him lightly and fancy a stoppage win this time around.
Price also on the card, and Josh Warrington, decent little fighter from Leeds also on.
Anyone know who's showing GGG Murray, and will it clash with the German show?

Murray gave Macklin awful grief about how he took him on, he'll soon have his chance. Is it televised cant see it on box nation or sky?

Golovkin's a weird one. He looks absolutely brilliant but the middleweight division looks quite poor at the moment in terms of quality, especially when in between Welter and Super Middle. Cotto is the only fight I can see being a big challenge for him.
Be boss if he could drop to 147 and fight the likes of Ward, Khan, Brook etc.

I think you might mean mayweather rather than ward mate, though ward would be more realistic if he was actually active, not a huge step up from midddle to super middle, even if GGG is a small middleweight. I actually think Murray is a very decent fighter, but GGG looks exceptional, wonderful balance which allows him that power in both hands, and from angles you wouldn't expect. If Murray could pull it off it would be a massive massive win, will be GGG inside 6 for me though, Also think abraham will beat smith

Golvikin said he'd be fine with going up in weight to fight Ward and/or go down to 147ish. Problem is that there isn't really anyone who wants a part of him (maybe Paciquao but he just seems to big for him). He's going to have to do something because middleweight is about all cleared out.
cotto wants nothing to do with him either, I think he will have to step up rather than down, plenty of fights at super middle, getting down to 147 could be a problem, I know catchweight is a possibility, but a step up is the more conventional move, the winner of floyd/pacman at a catchweight would be a huge fight, possibly bigger than their own fight, if not financially then amongst boxing fans, not sure I see that happening though.
