Boxing

I think Frampton beats Quigg, and by stoppage too.

Rigondeaux is a different matter though, Avalos was tailor made for him but Rigo would be the polar opposite, definitely think Frampton would have a chance, more than id have given him a year or so ago.

Did anyone watch kovalev v pascal ? Great fight and pascal is an absolute warrior for taking that much punishment but still tried to have a go back.

Nice touch having jazza on the pitch today showing off the Lonsdale belt as well.

They have to get the Stevenson Kovalev fight done now, that was too easy tonight, Bika didn't have a chance coming up in weight. I think it'd be a great fight but i'd just give Kovalev the edge, he'll have the benefit of being in with tougher opponents of late anyway.

The light heavyweight division is decent now, that Beterbiev on the bill in Canada looked a beast too, huge power in both hands.

Don't know anything about Kevin Johnson but he cant be any worse an opponent than what Joshua was in with tonight, big year ahead, the levelof opponent has to be stepped up soon.

Damn Anthony Joshua looks good if a little ring rusty.

Just hope he doesn't turn out to be another Frank who looked very similar in the lead up to title challenges.

Kovalev vs Stevenson, is probably the biggest 'must be made' fight this year, two undoubted best in the divison, both actually at their best weight, and both both pretty exciting fighters, I agree Kovalev slight favourite, would love it to happen

Bit of an easy fight though, okay just back from injury an all that, step to step the oppo up a gear now though, I appreciate its a tough division to be a matchmaker in for a young prospect, but lets see how he goes against a Johnson or even Price

Agreed but he can only fight what is put in front of him and it was a very professional job. Don't think Gavern laid a hurtful glove on him (& I give credit to Gavern for at least getting up in Round 2 when he could have taken his money).
Johnson will be more of a test but I'd be surprised if it went passed Round 4.

Mind, the Heavies are poor at the moment and AJ is a bit of diamond

Brook v Gavin on Sky Box Office lol

Selby & Mitchell in world title fights on the undercard as well as Joshua v Kevin Johnson.
Desperation on hearns part to give sky 4 ppv events a year . Regardless this is a good card but so it should be most match room cards lately are beyond a disgrace
