Boxing

I want to see Canelo, Cotto and GGG to actually get in the ring and find out who's the best at the weight.

Fed up of seeing all 3 in 'no risk' fights.

ffs... :( how fast can man fall. he was rising star just a while ago...powerful puncher and athletic...well, after i saw his interview i was like...you stupid stupid man. it's in tube.

Just got round to watching that video you posted, sad to see him like that, but obviously someone who has serious problems and addictions so id stop short of calling him a stupid man.

Shared the ring with some greats, Martinez, Hopkins etc, awful shame its gone how it has for him.

I hope he gets it together. I really do. But Im not ashamed to say he's stupid cause it seems he has thrown it all away...

Good performance from ricky burns last night, one of the nicest fellas in boxing, can still make a tidy living on that display, looks like he has his confidence back in his jaw after that injury against beltran, on his opponent coming in heavy at the weight, there really is no excuse for coming in that much over the limit, and its not very fair on Burns

Future world champion elite athlete for me. Has developed at the right time to avoid the Klitschkos - think he'll dominate the sport for the next decade. He's got the same air of being able to not let a fighter have a look in as Vitali and Wladimir. Yeah I know he's not fought anyone decent but, to be blunt, there's only like three people who are decent in the division anyway, and two of them retire soon.
Joshua is more Vitali than wlad in spirit, he genuinely likes fighting, a bit more skilled and powerful than Vitali in my opinion, still questions to be answered, and prospects moving through the early parts of the career can often make fools of us when they step up one way or another. Worth remembering he was late starter, who learned on the job and won Olympic gold just four years after walking in to a gym, won a world silver after just 3

Didn't realise Figueroa had come in heavy, answers why he was so keen to lean on him at any opportunity.

I must admit I thought he'd get blasted out, very spirited display, as I mentioned earlier I thought the cards of 9-3, and 8-4 were harsh on him.

Did you watch McDonnell fight, great result for him, some response after the heavy knockdown.

and then Burns gets pinged for tying up the heavier man, would he have had to do that to the point of getting a deduction without the extra? Maybe he would, but the guys both have a 10 week training camp to hit a weight, it just isn't right that one guy doesn't hit the weight. McDonnell has done well their, I thought he kept his head well, used his reach and managed to get a close decision after a big set back, think he said he wants to step up a weight now, fair enough as there is more money at super bantam, still not entirely convinced he would be elite there in all honesty, but he's a solid fighter

Have to admit I had him behind at the end but although couldn't take that into account too much as the beer goggles were well and truly on at that stage.

You'd wonder would going up be right, he never really troubled Kameda with power, more a case of him tiring than anything, as you said, if that's where the bobs are.
