His D is his weakness. Monroe only has 6 KOs so I think he wasn't that concerned. However some of those punches from Monroe were quality and hurt him. That was GGG's toughest fight in the states. Monroe deserves another HBO fight. Monroe-Murray would be a good fight.

people say he could beat mayweather jnr but im not so sure, if D is his weakness i can see mayweather just let him come onto him and just use his run and box technique to either pick him off or win on points.

GGG has power and accuracy is 10 years younger and bigger. Canelo-GGG would be a hell of a fight.

I can't believe the hype around Joshua. He's fighting the lowest of the low in the worst heavyweight division of all time. Absolutely light years from Wilder, Wlad, Povetkin etc. at the moment and I've seen more than one person compare him to Mike Tyson. Ridiculous.

He's not fighting the lowest of the low though.

Jason Gavern was Wilder's last opponent before his title fight with Stiverne and Joshua got rid of him quicker.

The most recent Love fella went 10 rounds With Erik Molina (i think) in his last fight, Molina is top 10 ranked with 3 bodies and is fighting Wilder for his WBC next.

So how is he light years away form Wilder when they are fighting similar level fighters? (Stiverne apart)

Some people have a point, Joshua hasnt been tested to a high level yet, but what you have seen in recent fights is what most boxers do anyway, its not just about getting wins against lower ranked fighters, its about adapting to being infront of thousands of fans, the lights, the cameras, especially if your hit with a good punch - this become a blur, its how you react to things like that knowing the nation is focused on you.

Anthony Joshua looks the part and its coming to the point were he will be tested, Joshua's biggest test will be how he reacts to Johnson taking a punch and not going down - pretty much everyone else has, Joshua must think 'one decent punch will end it tonight', not as easy as that as you start stepping up the ladder towards the big boys. Also has Joshua actually ever took one to the chin of any note worthy effect ?

I hope he goes onto the world stage because ive never went out of my way to watch any boxers other than Klitshcko's, Calzaghe, Hatton, Mayweather vs Pacman and Joshua.
