Well I understand the first Apollo Creed fight was a one off that Creed did not take seriously, but in the rematch Creed had prepared properly. He should have buried him with his longer reach jabs.

So many times, it happens too fast, you change your passion for glory (which he eventually did). He didn't lose his grip of his dreams of the past, he must fight just to keep them alive.

Because, it's the eye of the tiger, it's the thrill of the fight, Rising up to the challenge of a rival (Apollo), and the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night, because he's watching us all with the eye, of the tiger.

Face to face, he was out in the heat, definitely hanging tough but staying hungry. They stacked the odds yet he took to the streets for the kill with the skill to survive.

the olympics should still be decent though, weve got a good crop of fighters, and GB is one of the fairer countries for the amateur game decision wise, getting rid of the 4 x 2 mins for 3 x 3 has improved it aswell

Well if you want to get technical about it, Rocky didn't get the eye of the tiger until after Clubber Lang beat him senseless and fell in love with Apollo while both were running on the beach in the shortest shorts ever created by man.
