With all the high profile combat fights going on the weekend I'd completely forgot about the Jones Jr Macarinelli bout, anytime I hear Jones fighting these days I just hope he doesn't get hurt, I don't even watch him anymore but I'll probably tune into this seeing as I know the opponent this time.

He was meant to fight in September st aintree racecourse v a scouser on one of Vaughans cards . He pulled out last minute to take this fight .

His Russian promoter wouldn't give any compo leaving the Scouse lad, all the fans who had paid £40 minimum a ticket out of pocket . The only good thing was the Vaughans getting bumped as the Russians we're a bit too heavy for him as he is the usually the bully who rips people off .

I wouldn't want to see it . Both certainly have looked after themselves and benn still looks boss In sparring videos I've seen from recently. But it's just a money spinner .

Plenty look boss in sparring videos. No way would I pay for this. Should be a channel 5 jobby this one.
