Rees has a big heart but broner is as you say looking like a star and he completely outclassed him. Some of broner's work was just fantastic to watch.

He's a wonderfully skilled boxer isnt he, incredible timing and the power to go with it, I'd love to see Ricky Burns get a shot against him, I dont think Burns would win, but the lad deserves a 'big' fight.

Rees was willing to go out on his shield alright, just up against someone operating a level above him, good on Gary Lockett in his corner, I didnt even know he had become a trainer till this fight.

rees looked quite sharp and was doing ok for the first two rounds. the problem was, and this must be heartbreaking, broner was just smiling at him when he got hit. The big problem for rees was, as soon as broner decided to take control he did with ease. completly different level.

Without doubt, not sure I would back Burns to win, but like you said what he has done with his career is outstanding, I'll be honest and say that when he first came on the scene I never thought he could be this good, even when he beat Rocky Martinez, I thought he'd have a short stint as champ and then maybe go back to european level. Apparently he's a top lad aswell, which is makes it all the better.

Burns has done enough to back himself against anyone in the division though, like yourself I'd back Broner, Burns deserves a marque fight

I don't think he's as good as his team would have you believe but I do think he looks decent and he's progressing well , there as some good domestic fights to be made in that division.

Seems to have good footwork, can hit, can take a punch and is pretty clever.

Hes a talent, gets tagged a fair bit though, and your Kiko is probably on the slide a little bit, remember Rendall Munroe beat him and he was just short of world class himself, like Sheeds said some good domestic fights, Quigg being the obvious one.

Hell of a tough division though, with Donaire, and one of my favourite amateurs Rigondoux (chico probably lived next door to him for a bit), but plenty of exciting fights, and he seems to have skys backing so he should be a name
