Boxing

Fury once punched himself in the face and got battered from pillar to post by a fat guy called McDermott, but got given the win by the corrupt UK boxing officials, just so a fight like this could happen.

He'll be fed to the sharks when he fights Price. He's there simply to legitimise Price, who'll put him away inside four rounds.

I'm not going to get at Fury for mouthing off as such - he's basically selling tickets, and Price hasn't got the verbals to play the villain in their encounter.

Price beats him all day long as others have said, I have to say having watched Price quite a bit as an amateur, I didn't think he would this promising as a pro, don't get me wrong I thought he'd be decent, but he looks superb right now, good movement for his size, picks his shots very very well, and his power is insane. Fury looks messy, but hes not quite as bad as he looks, I dont particulary rate him though, and in better eras he wouldn't get a mention. The opponents both have faced aren't anything to shout about, but the manner in which Price has been getting rid of some very durable if limited fighters is pretty exciting. Would love to see this fight happen.

Steve Collins talking about fighting Roy Jones Jr at the age of 48, I think this will be a new low for the sport if it happens.

Collins reckons because they are the same age the fight won't be that much different from what it would be had they fought 15 years ago, he should fail the medical for that comment alone on the grounds of being completely mental.

If they had fought in their prime I reckon Jones would have won the fight easy, but I wouldn't spend a euro to see it now.

They must need some beer tokens. Would have liked to see it way back when, think Jones would have won but no interest in it now. Bit of a joke really isn`t it.
