Martinez is a beast and is number 4 in the pound for pound ranking. Beaten Macklin and Barker quite recently. Very, very tough test for Murray tonight and massive respect for going to Argentina for the fight... Think he'll be KO'd in the latter rounds though, hopefully I'm wrong.

Yeah, it's gunna be a bear pit over there like, especially with the Malvinas stuff going on too!

I've never seen this Martinez fella box TBH. He must be top level is he's no.4.

Is he a big hitter this fella?

Not especially big, think he moved up to middleweight a while back and wasn't expected to do much but he's been king of the division for a while like.

Can't believe I haven't heard of this fella before! Looks a entertaining guy based on that too.

Murray's got his work cut out here.
 

Anyone watch the Khan fight, only seen the knock down on sky news, doesn't matter how good a trainer Hunter is, there's no fixing a weak chin. He's destined for disaster as soon as he's in with a half decent hitter again.

Fraudley lasted 70 seconds, surely thats him done, or will he win another prizefighter and claim to be back again.
 
On the khan fight I'm always surprised at the hate out there for him , the lad has obvious and serious weaknesses in his technique and make up but for all those faults his fights are great to watch, as much for his faults as his talents and your just waiting for the opponent to land and for him to hit the canvas.

I think the yanks love him on TV and I can see why , I'm not saying he's top class because his recent record has pretty much ensured that ship has sailed but for entertainment in my opinion his fights deliver

it was a decent fight sheeds, thought he was done for a few times, showed good improvment in patches, keeping his guard high ect , enjoyed the fight think he should go up a weight?

I like him Sheeds. I know how naive it is to fight the other fella's fight but I like that he loses his head and just has it with them. He'll never be great but he's not ducking anything and a few of the fights he took he'd have been well advised not to.

I thought he did well to cope with the knockdown but I do worry a little about him getting between styles and I think he has to go up but obviously that's a bit of a worry, he'll be there soon id think depending on whether he gets a shot next . I can imagine khan winning another title but I can also see him losing it in his first defence as well .

Virgil hunter seems anxious to really work on him and is encouraging him to spend a lot more time in the states.
