The echo is a pretty good place to watch it if your local mate, the olympia too for the history, seeing a world champion come out to zcars at goodison under the lights though, I can think of any sporting event I'd rather be at

The hype surrounding Joshua has been seriously cringeworthy, notably being introduced as "the future peoples champ", he wasn't even that convincing winning his medal with one fairly awful decision going his way, i'd say they took that Italian he fought tonight from the local pizzeria.

Thought Quigg done enough to win, bit of a flat feeling becoming world champion on the back of a draw.

Interested to see if Roach can make any changes to Cotto, one of my favorite fighters later on tonight, think the defeats and the manner of them to Manny and "hands of stone" Margarito done no favours whatsoever to Cottos cances of longevity, pretty much last chance tonight.

Harsh on quigg I agree, the most impressive thing about Joshua is he only walked into a gym 4 years ago, he got a harsh one at the worlds and got a generous one at the olympics, regardless he is a huge talent, a complete athlete with huge margins for improvement in a weak division, and seems a nice kid as well, lets ignore the hype and watch him develop.

Regards Cotto, I really dont see him as a light middleweight, but a great fighter, full of entertainment, and we will never know how much that Margerito fight took out of him, we all know what went on and I just hope it has no effect long term

Thought he looked very sharp, Roach was impressed with how hard he worked in camp for it. He said after he wants the 160lb belt as no Puerto Rican has had it before so it looks like his eye is on Martinez,be a good match up.

Decent card in Vegas tonight,just fancy Marquez in the main event but just wonder when age will finally catch up with him.

Really interested to see how Lomachenko does, normally fighters make their pro debut in 4-6 rounders,yet he goes straight into a 10 rounder against a very much "live" opponent with a very decent pro record behind him, obviously the plan is to fast track Lomachenko through.

haha i am mate, can you think of a tougher pro debut ever made, of the the top of my head I cant, their talking world titles in 5 fights
