In an attempt at understanding and rapprochement, could a representative of the poached egg faction please explain the appeal?

Benedict wasn’t an option, so I went with poached because the eggs in a Benedict are poached.

My gf makes one called 'egg slut' which we just called 'egg s' cos of the terrible name . I think it's a restaurant in LA or something

It's like really slow cooked scrambled egg before it scrambled which has loads of butter, fried onions, cheese and a siracha mayo in a bagel
