Right i'm in need of a good thing to watch and i've come straight here. could someone provide me with a quick synopsis of it? whats the storyline/ genre? is it worth watching? (no spoilers please)

Breaking Bad is an American television drama series created and produced by Vince Gilligan. Set and produced in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Breaking Bad is the story of Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a struggling high school chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer at the beginning of the series.
It's probably the most simplistic show in terms of its look, but its a combination of every skill in the Industry that makes this the best show on TV. One of the top ten TV Shows you'll ever watch. Every Character is superbly layered and it's the kind of show that from the opening frame of Season 1 to the cliffhanger in Season 5 you will be engrossed in the 'Q'. All parts hilarious, melancholy, vivid, desperate, exhilarating, its a show you didn't realise how good it is until you pull up a chair in Walters Chemistry class, hitch a ride on the Krystal Ship, or sit down for a bite to eat at Los Pollos Hermanos.

Is the 1st series the weakest, It was ok Really good in parts but overall a tad slow and didnt think they nedded the 7 episodes to get to where they got in all the running storylines.
Does it get a lot lot better???

General consensus is that it gets better with every season. 4 is my favourite personally.

I'm up to season 4, ep 5. Fan of all of them, to be fair...brilliantly-drawn characters, expertly acted.
