Just about to start season 4 tonight, the endings of the last 2 episodes of season 3 were fantastic, real top drawer television.

i caned season 4 in like 3 days. it has that irresistible "just one more". gonna take a break now, then cane Season 5 at some point.

For those who have seen season 5 does it seem like it is an after thought to make money, I haven't seen it but the end of season 4 just seemed like a natural ending place, with no loose ends.

i'm same as you, up to end of season 4 and having a break now. Agree that it seemed a good ending, as the Gus arc was 3 seasons long.

But there are loose ends aplenty:

- is Mike alive?
- when and how will Walt die? Does he just live on? Will he still cook?
- what's with all the money laundering? that surely can't end well, can it?
- Jessie's story seems incomplete somehow
- Hank is surely not gonna give up after that very juicy development in the S4 finale


enough material for one more season there, i reckon. room for a couple of new characters too.
 

Fair enough first half us out now of season 5 and then the last 8 episodes are released on the 25th November

Think each successive season was basically better than the one before it tbh. Season 5 was a phenomenal accomplishment imho - especially with the MASSIVE weight of expectation riding on it.

The "bit in the garage" (not wanting to spoil anything) was - for me at least - the second best scene of television ever made.

I kind of went the other way with it, think they did season 5 well, and the entire thing was massively enjoyable, but I loved the early series more

Good shout that, that's one hell of a scene.
