Right, we've moved to a new office in a multi organisation building.... We are the only company who work on weekends, our manager told us today that we need to make ourselves available next Wednesday at 6pm for training in the alarm systems for the building as we will be given keys..... Oh how we laughed .... Oh how our union laughed too..... Looks like we won't be working weekends much longer if they can't find a caretaker to open and close the building ..... We don't get paid for holding keys to multi million pound premises.

Just rang up Orange fuming because they've clearly given my number out to every phone company in the country. Got fed up of the 5 phone calls a day and answer phone messages. Gave the poor Irish bloke a bit of a earful.

They're all crap, aren't they?
I don't want to sign another contract with them but they're all as bad as each other but if I threaten to cancel my contract they may offer me something decent. I hate how all contracts are 24 months now as well.
They're all not much cop
My original phone contract with Virgin was for 18 mths. I now have a monthly rolling contract I can cancel at any time . Same phone, same company

Yeah you can do that after your minimum contract term has expired. I'd do this myself but my phone broke and I can't deal with this £10 rubbish one for much longer.
I could have upgraded , new phone more mins/texts etc, but my monthly fee would have gone from £10 to £22. But I kept the phone I had , blagged more mins and texts and got it for £8:50 a month.Then bought a new phone . Cost me less to buy the phone than get one on a new contract
I've just had sardines in sunflower oil spread over fresh crusty crusty bread..... It was fantastic.
