Can they pause the game while I take a pee and pick up a beer too please?

I think we are looking at it all wong, surely a solution can be found, how about they just wear a comedically oversized sombrero and a pair of sunglasses and just pretend the sun has gone down already?

This is a very serious subject, I’m not sure you are treating it with the appropriate level of gravitas.

Would be breaking their fast… which is why they’re having a break in between. To them, having a couple of bananas before kick off may as well be having breakfast lunch and dinner.

Strict Moslems Abide by the letter of the Qu'ran that fasting ends at night time - no trace of light in the sky.

More liberals go by fast ending at sunset.

Either way, it is pretty dark at the moment by 7.30 pm for 7.45 pm/8pm kick offs. HOWEVER Clocks change this weekend so you have a point.

To be honest it's hard to give football any gravitas nowadays with the silly decisions. If there's a natural break like a VAR check or alike then fine, if not they can come to the sideline to take a quick drink, have a few bites of something while the game is going on.

If there is a set time either as a standalone event or tacked on to the end of something like VAR to give them 3/4 mins then I'm totally against it. Football is about momentum, say we somehow were 1-0 up against the RS and we were pushing for a second, Salah causes the break as the ball has gone out for a goal kick and in that time Klopp has been able to read them the riot act, extra PEDS have been taken and the crowd noise has all flatlined.

Do other leagues in hot climates pause the game a few times to help the one ginger Icelandic player so he can have an ice bath and reapply factor 5000 suncream...?
