"Everton are in a unique situation compared with other clubs as Doucoure, Idrissa Gueye and Belgium international Amadou Onana form an all-Muslim midfield."

We've had the 'holy trinity'. Now we've got the 'midfield Muslims'.

Alhamdulillah

You'd hope the clubs 'nutritional experts' would be on top of it but it would be just our luck/incompetence to have our entire midfield knackered for a month because they were only eating cream cakes at 9pm or something

Some may call it an Unholy trinity ..

@chrismpw
I wouldn't. I'm sure in their faith system the Muslims don't consider themselves any less holy than Christians or Jews. I'm not comparing faiths or saying any are bad, holy or unholy. I just don't see the point of any of them equally.

What if a new faith system came along where a player believed it was immoral to play sport unless it was between 2am and 3am. In the name of inclusiveness would football, tv and the fans adapt to this? A 60 minute game I'm the middle if the night? Where do we draw the line?
