I wouldn't. I'm sure in their faith system the Muslims don't consider themselves any less holy than Christians or Jews. I'm not comparing faiths or saying any are bad, holy or unholy. I just don't see the point of any of them equally.

What if a new faith system came along where a player believed it was immoral to play sport unless it was between 2am and 3am. In the name of inclusiveness would football, tv and the fans adapt to this? A 60 minute game I'm the middle if the night? Where do we draw the line?
You stopped just short of a 'they don't like it up 'em' line 😊

I'd like to see the players settle in at the 20 minute mark for a full 3 course meal setting. The game may take 4 or 5 hours to complete what with the caterers having to set up the tables, chairs and decorations for an ambient setting on the pitch then wash all the dishes and utensils once the players have finished their meal but it'll be right.

music, mood lighting, waiter service, high kickin' cocktail waitresses, tinsel, bells and whistles... the whole schmear.

Even better, bang a tenner on everyone's ticket to pay for the privilege, so the starving masses can watch on in hungry wonder.

Someone might even end up wearing a crown at the end...

I'm all for moving mountains to improve life for everybody. But I won't entertain changes for irrational superstition.

As I see it, if you want to do that you should leave any civlisation based on rational science and go live in a commune somewhere else, forgoing any benefits of that science. The only point to teligion in the modern world is to exercise control and wealth collection for its institutions.
I agree to a point. I have zero faith myself. I know many moslem colleagues and friends who are regular people who practice their faith. Their discipline is admirable. On the football side you can't stop a game and it is not as if they can't eat, but the timing is irregular. Most difficult is getting up early to eat and pray. I think time to sleep during the day would help and who plays on a full stomach?

Can’t believe our midfield 3 are gonna get run ragged by Fulham because they haven’t had a sip of water all day. Cancel Ramadan imo
